Robert A. Kotick is an American businessman and the chief executive officer of Activision Blizzard, Inc. He is the son of venture capitalist and former vice chairman of Goldman Sachs, William H. Kotick, and the grandson of Robert A. Kotick, founder of Kotick Construction Company, a large construction firm in the Boston area.

Bobby attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He was also the captain of the Michigan Wolverines football team. He then attended Harvard Business School, receiving his MBA.

Upon graduation from business school, Kotick worked for McKinsey & Company as a Strategy Associate for one year. After that, he joined Microsoft as a Business Development Manager. He then moved to Activision Publishing (now known as Activision Blizzard), where he was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company’s publishing division. Kotick later became Chief Executive Officer Activision Blizzard.
