Randal Nardone, Co-Founder of Fortress Investment Group

Fortress Investment Group one if the biggest private investment firms headquartered in New York. It was co-founded in 1998 as a private equity firm by Randal Nardone. In 2007, Fortress Investment group became the largest publicly trading private investment company in the United States. It achieved around $70.2 billion in assets of management investment ownership.

When Randal Nardone co-founded Fortress Investment Group, he wanted to use the company to empower entrepreneurs and businessmen. Currently, Randal is one of the members of the board of director at Fortress Investment Group LLS. In addition to co-founding the firm, he also led the company in 2011 as its chief executive officer. Softbank Group Corporation, one of the banking giants in Japan acquired Fortress Investment in December 2017. In 2018, Randal Nardone was named by Forbes as one of its billionaires and landed on the 558th place. He has a net worth value of around $1.8 billion. Aside from Fortress Investment, Randal Nardone also served as Brookdale Senior Living Incorporated’s director. He also holds key roles in various businesses. This includes Eurocastle Investment Limited, Alea Group Holding Limited, and GAGFA SA. He is also the vice president and the secretary of another investment firm, Newcastle Investment Holdings LLC.

The Japanese banking titan owned all of the shares of the investment firm and traded it to around $3.3 billion. Softbank initially retained Randal and appointed him in its management team. Randal was thrilled with the acquisition and is looking forward to more achievements for the company in the near future. He believes that the firm will greatly grow and will have better opportunities to avail of larger sources of credits.
